About Vintage Snowmobile Ice Racing…
Vintage Snowmobile Ice Oval Racing is quickly becoming one of the most popular winter sports venues in the upper Midwest. It features fearless drivers on sleds 25 years or older, restored with modern technology, racing at lightning speeds. Racing facilities are 1/4 to 1/2 mile long with flat or banked corners and an ice surface. Races are located in states such as Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan and in Canada. On average 500 to 5,000 people attend each weekend and for a few premier races, attendance reaches up to 15,000. A family-oriented sport, it is not uncommon to see 2 or 3 generations of family members attending as either spectator or participant. Media coverage often includes radio, web simulcast, and newspaper. All of this can offer an exciting advertising opportunity for sponsors.
